Newk's Springs Into Action With Four LTO Pizzas

This month, Newk’s Express Café launched four new pizza flavors. The pizzas—Salmon, Buffalo Chicken, Steak and Mushroom, and Crawfish—will be available through the spring.

The Salmon pizza features fresh dill, capers, red onion, and a tangy dill sauce.

The Buffalo Chicken pizza has Cheddar, Provolone, celery, and zesty hot sauce.

Grilled portabellas, caramelized onions, and Mozzarella top the Steak and Mushroom pizza, while the Crawfish pizza includes Gouda, Provolone, artichokes, and red and yellow peppers.

“Our pizzas are a fan favorite, and we wanted to spice up our pizza selection,” says Chris Newcomb, cofounder and CEO. “These new flavors are a fun way to surprise our regulars with unique options. We’re excited for guests to experience each of the new pizza flavors over the next few months.”

Newk’s Express Café provides an express casual-dining experience and features a variety of made-to-order choices, including fresh-tossed salads, oven-baked sandwiches, California-style pizzas, made-from-scratch soups, and homemade cakes baked by Newk’s Bakery Company.

A selection of wines by the glass and beer is also available at select locations.

Since opening its first location in Oxford, Mississippi, in 2004, Newk’s has expanded its presence to 11 states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.

Newk's has more than 50 restaurants, and more than 40 are franchised. Projections call for 10 new restaurants to open in 2013.
