Noodles & Company Joins Forces with Doherty Enterprises

Noodles & Company, the fast-casual restaurant concept with more than 300 locations throughout the U.S. that features a collection of dishes from around the world, announces an area development agreement with Doherty Enterprises, the 10th largest restaurant franchise in the United States. Through the partnership, the Noodles & Company brand is able to announce additional restaurants planned for the New York metro area.  The first restaurant will be located at The Gallery at Westbury Plaza, the first new shopping center constructed in Garden City along Old Country Road, and is slated to open in early 2013.  

This agreement with Doherty Enterprises is part of a multi-phased development effort to enter the Northeast, which also includes recent announcements detailing other locations and openings in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Jersey. The brand opened the first Noodles & Company restaurant in the northeast on October 3, 2012. As Noodles sets its expansion plans to include new markets, specifically in the Northeast, the brand is attracting and partnering with proven best-in-class franchise operators, like Doherty Enterprises.

Noodles will reach approximately 330 units by the end of 2012.
