An original restaurant concept, JJ’s Red Hots, is bringing its premier handcrafted, chargrilled hot dogs and sausages to Charlotte, North Carolina, at 1514 East Blvd.

"This concept is inspired by beloved hot dog joints like Ted’s in Buffalo, New York, where I grew up eating chargrilled hot dogs, onion rings, and shakes,” says founder Jonathan Luther.

“Ted’s and other timeless restaurants like them are rooted in classic American values. At JJ’s we will strive every day to live up to these old-school values. What sets us apart is the overall experience that we will bring to Dilworth [neighborhood] and Charlotte.”

JJ’s features smokehouse hot dogs from Sahlen’s Packing Company in Buffalo, New York, chargrilled over an open flame. JJ’s will also serve beer and wine.

JJ’s newly renovated space includes a take-out window and one of the largest roof decks in Charlotte. The grand opening is planned for early July.
