Paisano’s announced its intentions to raise support for a Virginia girl with cancer.

“Rachel D’Andrea is a beautiful little 2½-year-old girl diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, and she truly needs our help,” says CEO Fouad Qreitem. “She needs our help and her family needs the help, support, and encouragement of those in our community. I for one am honored to assist in that regard and have decided to make ‘Monday Night Is Rachel D’Andrea Night’ an event at all area Paisano’s restaurants where anyone who wishes can help make a simple yet extremely important contribution to alleviate the financial burdens of an area family … and it won’t cost the customer a cent.”

“Every Monday, all day, beginning February 8, for every large pizza sold, I will donate $2 to the Rachel D’Andrea Fund c/o the Chantilly Bible Church on Pleasant Valley Rd. in Chantilly,” Qreitem says. “This donation applies to each of our stores’ locations: Chantilly, Fair Lakes, Fairfax City, Reston, Herndon, and Bella Pizza of Centreville.”

Paisano’s will post links to “Monday Night Is Rachel D’Andrea Night” on the Paisano’s Web site.

“Paisano’s customers who routinely have pizzas delivered to their homes or places of business—or who prefer carry-out or dine-in—should consider making Mondays a part of their dining experience moving forward,” Qreitem says. “With no cost to them whatsoever, not only will they be helping themselves to the best pizza anywhere, they will more importantly be helping a young lady and her family fight the good fight against a horrid disease. That’s a pizza-perfect pledge from Paisano’s.”
