Boneheads Grilled Fish and Chicken has announced its entry overseas, with a franchise development agreement to open five locations in Pakistan. With two locations opening by the end of the year, Pakistan will be the first country outside the United States to open a Boneheads location. After visiting a Boneheads restaurant in the United States, franchisee Mukaram Ghani signed the five-store agreement to bring Boneheads to Pakistan. “I cannot begin to express the excitement we have for being a part of the Boneheads family,” says Ghani. “We look forward to bringing this culinary delight to Pakistan, and we believe that Boneheads will quickly be rated among our top restaurants for its adaptable food profile, upmarket fast dining and overall experience.” In addition to international growth, Boneheads continues U.S. growth, including a 20-store franchise agreement in Southern California and an additional six locations set to open across the country in Texas, Arkansas, New Jersey, Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi. “With the amount of inquiries we have received in 2014, we are on track to open 50 locations in the next three years. As we continue to grow, so will our corporate infrastructure to support our franchisees both domestically and internationally,” says Ron Barber, chairman of Boneheads. “The entry into Pakistan will allow us to target additional countries overseas, like India, as well as continue aggressive growth domestically.”
