Panda Express Celebrates Chinese New Year
As guests enter their local Panda Express, they will be greeted with paper dragons and red and gold scrolls that read "Kung Hay Fat Choy," wishing happiness and good fortune to all.
When guests purchase a meal, they will receive a red envelope that includes a description of the Year of the Dragon and a coupon for a free entree item. On February 5, the official start of the Chinese New Year, Panda Express will give gifts of tangerines as a symbol of prosperity.
In addition to its regular entree items, Panda Express will also offer beef and stringbeans in black bean sauce, Firecracker Beef, and fried bean curd country style.
Panda Express is the largest and fastest-growing quick-service Chinese food chain in the nation. It is privately owned under South Pasedena, California based Panda Management Company, Inc. which has operated a successful family of restaurants including Panda Express, Panda Inn, and Panda Panda since 1973.
