Panda Express Kicks Off Shrimp Fest with Free Shrimp

Panda Express is making life delicious this Chinese New Year by introducing Shrimp Fest. Shrimp Fest allows each guest to enjoy the variety of three of Panda’s premium shrimp entrees, including Peppercorn Shrimp, Honey Walnut Shrimp, and new Tangy Jumbo Shrimp, to create a delicious and satisfying meal.

Tangy Jumbo Shrimp, Panda Express’ newest premium shrimp offering, combines crispy, extra-large shrimp, fresh sugar peas, and sweet red bell peppers, wok-tossed in a new tangy Asian seafood sauce. Guests are invited to enjoy a free single serving of Tangy Jumbo Shrimp on February 13 by downloading a coupon from the Panda Express website.

According to the Chinese lunar calendar, the first moon signals the beginning of Chinese New Year, which began February 10th and is celebrated for 15 days. Shrimp symbolizes happiness and good fortune, and in honor of Chinese New Year and in celebration of the company’s 30th anniversary, the Panda Express culinary team set out to create a meal that all guests, whether celebrating Chinese New Year, the season of Lent, or those who enjoy premium seafood, could enjoy. Shrimp Fest will be available through March 30.

“We are passionate about creating new dishes and exciting flavors,” says Andy Kao, executive chef at Panda Express. “Shrimp Fest allows guests to order not only one, but up to all three of our delicious shrimp offerings including our new Tangy Jumbo Shrimp, bold Peppercorn Shrimp, and crispy Honey Walnut Shrimp.”

The coupon for a free single serving of Tangy Jumbo Shrimp is redeemable only in participating locations on February 13.
