bakery-cafe sales increased 3.3% for the four weeks ended August 11, 2001. For the thirty-two weeks ended August 11, 2001,
system-wide comparable bakery-cafe sales increased 6.1%. The breakdown between company-owned and franchised bakery-cafes
is as follows.

Average system-wide weekly sales (excluding the three specialty bakery- cafes) increased 9.8% to $32,614 for the four weeks ended
August 11, 2001 compared to $29,705 for the four weeks ended August 5, 2000.
