Papa John’s International, Inc. (NASDAQ: PZZA) announced July 12 that systemwide comparable sales for the five weeks ended June 25, 2000 increased 1.8%, comprised of a 1.7% increase at company-owned restaurants and a 1.9% increase at franchised units.

Systemwide comparable sales for the second quarter ended June 25, 2000 increased 2.1%, comprised of a 2.0% increase at company-owned restaurants and a 2.1% increase at franchised units (rolling over 2Q 1999 systemwide comparable sales of 5.8%, comprised of a 4.2% increase at company-owned restaurants and a 6.5% increase at franchised units).
