Papa John's Offers Free Super Bowl Overtime Pizza

Papa John's, the official pizza of Super Bowl XLV, announced that it will offer a free large pizza to members of its online customer-loyalty program if Super Bowl XLV, to be played on Feb. 6, goes into overtime.

To be eligible for a free large, three-topping pizza, consumers must register for the loyalty program, Papa Points, at www.papajohns.com by 11:59 pm ET Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011.

If the game goes into overtime, all Papa Points members will receive 25 Papa Points, the amount of points needed to redeem a large, three-topping pizza. Consumers can redeem the points anytime through June 30, 2011.

“The Super Bowl is the largest stage in all of sports, and being the official pizza sponsor of Super Bowl XLV, there’s no better event or day to serve as a platform for our largest offer ever,” says Andrew Varga, Papa John’s chief marketing officer.

Papa John’s is the only national pizza chain to offer a customer loyalty program. The franchise is also in the first year of a multi-year sponsorship with the NFL and is the official pizza of 14 NFL teams, including the Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys, and Philadelphia Eagles.
