Par-Way Tryson CEO Mandy Hanson has recently been awarded the Marty Whelan Entrepreneur Leadership Award by UniPro Foodservice Inc. for 2012. This is the second year the foodservice distribution cooperative has presented the award, named in honor of the late Marty Whelan, past chairman of Ettline Foods.

 

This award is the highest UniPro gives at any event during the year. The criteria for receiving the award include innovative thinking, development of creative marketing and sales strategies, commitment to the foodservice industry, and dedication to superior customer service. Hanson received the award at the UniPro banquet during the International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) Partners Executive Forum in Orlando, Florida, earlier this year.
