“Five Big Choices, Five Little Bucks,” is the theme on the menu this summer at Pat & Oscar’s Restaurants (www.patandoscars.com). The restaurant chain is now featuring a series of $5 value individual pizza meals including many of the company’s most popular combinations.

For $5, diners can enjoy an individual gourmet pizza for the first time ever and can choose from popular flavors such as Buffalo Chicken, Hawaiian, BBQ Chicken, Meat Lovers and the Pat & Oscar’s signature San Diego Pizza, complete with avocado, red onion and feta cheese. For only an additional $2, the individual gourmet pizza can be made into a combo with a 20-ounce drink and choice of side (Greek or Caesar salad, cup of soup, or baked potato wedges).

“Pat & Oscar’s has always been focused on value and quality family meal options,” says John Kaufman, Pat & Oscar’s president and CEO. “We are proud to offer some fantastic meal combinations now as individual selections expanding on our already popular family-style meals for two, four and more,” he adds.

These newest value offerings are an addition to the Pat & Oscar’s continued menu development, including the hot Pastrami Chipotle Melt, Meatball pizza, sandwiches and more. Throughout 2009, the entire Pat & Oscar’s culinary committee will be working to stay ahead of the curve in developing new and innovative menu items that broaden current offerings and enhance the ‘no veto’ menu concept.

The company plans to roll out other value oriented individual meal choices throughout the year and is testing several other menu changes and additions that will be implemented throughout the company’s 19 locations later this summer. In addition to the expanded individual meal choices, the company will be adding more side dishes, exotic flavors, appetizers and desserts to its menu.
