Pizza Hut Adds Bacon Mac 'n Cheese
Email this story"Putting together a quality pasta meal traditionally requires time and effort," says Kelly Buckley, chief food innovation officer at Pizza Hut. "Tuscani Pastas were developed to meet the needs of time-crunched individuals looking for affordable, delicious meals. Same-day meal planning with the convenience of carry out or delivery is a whole lot easier with our three restaurant-quality pasta recipes."
Since their introduction in April, the two varieties of Tuscani Pastas--Meaty Marinara and Creamy Chicken Alfredo--have been an immediate success story, as hungry Americans have embraced the first delivery pasta offered by a national pizza chain. The newest variety, Premium Bacon Mac 'n Cheese, is rotini pasta smothered in a cheddar cheese sauce, topped with cheese and bacon, and oven-baked. The pastas, which feed a family of four, are priced at $12.99.
