LOUISVILLE, KY, February 22, 2006 – India’s The Economic Times’ annual survey of India’s “Most Trusted Brands” in 2005 rated Pizza Hut as the most trusted quick-service restaurant company in India for the third year in a row.

The survey, which appears in The Economic Times’ February 15 edition, ranks the brands that have earned the trust and loyalty of consumers across India. The survey, conducted by ACNielsen’s ORG-MARG market research company, asked more than 7,000 participants, across different socio-economic, age, income and geographic backgrounds, various questions in order to determine each company’s overall trust score.

According to the survey, Pizza Hut is the number one most trusted food service brand in India and the only restaurant company to place in the Top 25 Service Brands list.

“Yum! Restaurants International is the largest and fastest-growing quick-service restaurant company in India,” says Graham Allan, president, Yum! Restaurants International. “India represents a tremendous long-term growth opportunity for Yum!.
“With a population of 1.1 billion people, a strong national infrastructure and a growing middle class, we are excited to continue to grow our brands in India,” Allan continues.
