Flash Market Inc. added to its stable of Pizza Inn franchises in Alabama, Arkansas, and Tennessee by opening four new Pizza Inn Express locations last month. Three are in Arkansas (Brinkley, Trumann, and Wynne). The other is in Clarkton, Missouri.
A fifth Pizza Inn Express, owned by franchisee Yasin Mohammad, began operations in Jarrell, Texas, and Dave Gonzalez opened another unit in late January in Hebbronville, Texas. It was a record number of openings in a single month in recent company history.
“It’s been an exciting month at Pizza Inn with all the new openings and opportunities for continued expansion arising every day,” says Randy Gier, chief executive officer of Pizza Inn Holdings Inc. “Flash Market has been an outstanding and highly successful franchise partner of ours since 2009. Our entire franchise team came together to ensure the success of all these openings, and they are prepared to keep the growth momentum going in the months ahead.”
Flash Market owns and operates more than 85 convenience-store locations across the Southeast, with 35 different restaurant concepts represented. In addition to the units opened in January, the company operates one Pizza Inn restaurant in Lebanon, Tennessee, another in Cave City, Arkansas, a location in Saraland, Alabama, and two units in Marion, Arkansas.
“The Pizza Inn brand is synonymous with quality products, excellent service, and great value,” says Keith Brown, food service director for Flash Market. “We believe the potential for continued growth is virtually limitless, so we’re very pleased to expand our partnership with Randy and his terrific team.”
