Pizza Inn Customer Will Get the Real Taste of Italy

It was no ordinary pizza delivery when local representatives of the Pizza Inn team knocked on the front door of Ayden, North Carolina–resident Krista Keith’s home.

When Keith answered and saw JoJo, the company icon, in full costume on her doorstep, she knew something big was happening—Rome, Italy, big.

Keith is the winner of Pizza Inn’s national “Taste of Italy” promotion. And since Rome wasn’t built in a day, Keith and a guest will enjoy an entire week in the city to see it up close.

Wayne Williams, the local supervisor of Pizza Inn, and general manager Eric Osborn accompanied JoJo to give Keith her certificate, balloons, and a fresh Pizza Inn Rustic Italian Pizza to celebrate.

“This is one pizza delivery that will go down in history,” Williams says. “And it’s great to have our grand prize winner right here in Greenville.”

As part of Pizza Inn’s Rustic Italian Pizza launch on its menu, the chain invited customers to participate in a first-ever promotion from April 26 to July 26. Instant win scratch-off game pieces were handed out at Pizza Inn stores nationwide, and Keith, along with customers throughout the U.S., could also log on to Pizza Inn’s website and register the entry number on their game piece for a chance to win the trip.

That trip is now a reality for Keith and a guest, who will receive round-trip air transportation to Rome, six nights of hotel accommodations, and $1,500 spending money.
