Flash Market Inc. has operated five Pizza Inn restaurants in Alabama, Arkansas, and Tennessee since 2009. The experience has been so rewarding, they have decided to expand in a big way.

Pizza Inn Holdings announced that it has awarded 10 new franchise units to Flash Market. The new Pizza Inn Express restaurants will be located in Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

“Our franchise partners have always been the lifeblood of our company, and Flash Market has been an outstanding partner with us for the past four years,” says Madison Jobe, chief development officer for Pizza Inn. “Flash Market is committed to the continued growth of the Pizza Inn brand, and they share our organization-wide dedication to providing the best quality, service, and value.”

Flash Market owns and operates 80 convenience-store locations across the Southeast, with 35 different restaurant concepts represented. The company operates one Pizza Inn restaurant in Lebanon, Tennessee; another in Cave City, Arkansas; a location in Saraland, Alabama; and two units in Marion, Arkansas. The 10 new Pizza Inn units will be integrated into the company’s existing locations.

“I believe Pizza Inn’s best days are still ahead which is why I am so excited about today’s announcement,” says Keith Brown, foodservice director for Flash Market. “The company’s management team is top notch, the brand is well-known, and its focus on serving up quality food at an excellent value is exactly what today’s customers are looking for. And let’s not forget their fresh dough!”

Flash Market’s first new Pizza Inn Express restaurant is projected to open in the fall of 2013.

“Pizza is a very competitive market and we have great confidence in the Pizza Inn brand,” Brown says. “We are excited about what we can do to expand the brand and are grateful for the great opportunity Pizza Inn has created for us.”
