Pollo Tropical Launches Family Meals

Pollo Tropical is offering its new Create Your Own Family Meal today.

“Pollo Tropical has always had a big commitment to families and has built a reputation on providing an affordable alternative to cooking from scratch at home,” says Kim Miller, vice president of marketing & communications for Pollo Tropical.

“Our fresh ingredients are counted on by busy families, and the new Create Your Own Family Meal is really a great way for our customers to enjoy and make the most out of our menu.”

In South Florida, patrons can get the basics, which include a whole grilled chicken and rolls for just $10.99. Patrons can then customize by adding as many sides as they like, while choosing from a variety of additional proteins.

In other areas such as New Jersey, Georgia, and other parts of Florida, patrons get the basics plus sweet plantains for just $11.95.

For an additional $5 each, families can add another half chicken, mojo roast pork, a half-rack of ribs, eight grilled tropical wings, or two boneless chicken breasts. A variety of fresh side dishes are also available in family portions for just $2.50 each.

They include white rice & beans, yellow rice with vegetables, brown rice, mashed potatoes with gravy, Yuca with garlic sauce, Caesar salad, balsamic tomatoes, kernel corn, curly fries and our new seasonal side sweet potato mash.

In Jacksonville and Georgia, riblets replace the half-rack of ribs and broccoli and carrots are also available as a side option.

In South Florida, patrons get the side portions for $2.25 each.
