Popeyes Debuts Six Signature Sauces

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, a division of AFC Enterprises, Inc., has launched six Signature Sauces—Bayou Buffalo, Barbeque, Sweet Heat, Mardi Gras Mustard, Buttermilk Ranch, and Blackened Ranch—to complement its flavorful tenders that are freshly battered and breaded.

Starting August 27, guests can enjoy three Handcrafted Tenders, Cajun fries, a biscuit, and a choice of one of six Signature Dipping Sauces for just $3.99.

And, throughout the month of September, guests will also receive three free Handcrafted Tenders with the purchase of an eight-piece-or-larger box or bundle at regular menu price.

Popeyes Handcrafted Tenders are always 100 percent breast meat, never formed or pressed, marinated in Louisiana seasonings, hand battered and breaded, then cooked up fresh at Popeyes.

“Many chicken tenders are formed and pressed in a factory and then thrown straight from the freezer into the fryer at the restaurant,” says Dick Lynch, chief global brand officer. “At Popeyes, we refuse to take these kinds of shortcuts. We are thrilled to show our guests how chicken tenders should taste and prove to them that our signature Louisiana twist will keep them coming back for more.”

In addition, any guest who comes into Popeyes and orders a combo meal will receive a limited-time-only Dr Pepper Savings Tag.

In September, when guests return to order a combo meal with a drink and show their savings tag, they have the choice to upsize their drink size for free.

Each tag also has a unique code for guests to enter at Popeyes’ website any time between August 20 and September 30 for a chance to win additional Popeyes Handcrafted Tenders food prizes.
