Star Manufacturing announced that the National Restaurant Association (NRA) honored its line of high performance Pro-Max Two-Sided Grills with Pro-Lift Hinge System with the Kitchen Innovation Award for 2011.
In its announcement, the NRA stated: “A new generation of Pro-Max Grills is based on a newly designed hinge system to transfer loads to compression springs for longevity, and lift straight up before rotation, to improve uniform grilling of multiple foods”.
“Star Manufacturing’s new Pro-Lift Hinge System for our Pro-Max Two-Sided Grills takes our reliability and performance to a whole new level," says Steve Lombardo, VP of sales and marketing for Star Manufacturing, Holman, and Toastmaster.
"Testing of the new system demonstrated quadrupling the expected life of the hinge system and ensures even grilling of sandwiches, tortillas, and proteins," Lombardo says. "More high volume restaurants and QSR’s use Star’s Pro-Max grills and we are thrilled to provide them with this new higher performing grill.”
