Qdoba Mexican Grill continues its successful growth by adding new locations across the nation. The company forecast includes opening five corporate and nine franchise stores in the next five months, bringing Qdoba to seventy-seven restaurants nationwide.

Qdoba’s new corporate stores will be located throughout Denver and Seattle. The newest franchise stores will bring Qdoba to various cities, including East Lansing, Michigan; Lexington, Kentucky; Atlanta; Matthews, North Carolina; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Madison, Wisconsin.

In 2001, Qdoba will see a twenty-two percent increase in growth with$50 million in systemwide sales.

Todd Owen, recently hired as director of franchise development for Qdoba, has been focusing on targeting multi-unit restaurant operators for development agreements in territories across the United States. He stresses the importance of site selection, customer satisfaction, and the commitment to local store marketing.
