Qdoba Mexican Grill announced the addition of two new queso flavors to its menu. The new Queso Diablo and Queso Verde, both drawing inspiration from Qdoba’s original 3-Cheese Queso, will launch in participating restaurants on February 10, but only for a limited time.

The new Queso Diablo features a blend of jalapenos and smoky chipotles, while Queso Verde blends fresh cilantro and lime juice for a zesty flavor. Both new Quesos use Qdoba’s 3-Cheese Queso as the base.

“Our 3-Cheese Queso is the most popular item on our menu and something we know our guests share an unwavering passion for,” says Ted Stoner, head chef and director of menu development for Qdoba. “So when we were looking for inspiration for new menu items, we needed to look no further than our own menu.”

For a limited time, guests can experience the new Queso Diablo and Queso Verde alongside their favorite original 3-Cheese Queso and chips with the Queso Sampler. The new Quesos aren’t just for dipping—guests can enjoy the new Queso Diablo or Queso Verde flavors on their favorite burrito. To complement Queso Diablo on a burrito, Stoner suggests adding brown rice, black beans, chicken, and pico de gallo, and for Queso Verde, he recommends cilantro-lime rice, black beans, shredded pork, and pico de gallo. Guests can also choose to add either of the new Quesos to a variety of favorite entrees, including 3-Cheese Nachos, Naked Burritos, and Mexican Gumbo.
