On Thursday, March 9, Quaker Steak & Lube broke ground on its fourth company-owned restaurant in Austintown, Ohio.

The restaurant will open mid July 2006, employ approximately 200 people and seat 350 people inside with an additional 120 outside. The restaurant will also house two bars indoors along with a patio bar.

“We chose the Austintown location due to the exposure it receives from heavily-traveled Interstate 80,” said Gary Meszaros, COO and Co-Founder of the original Quaker Steak & Lube. The other company-owned restaurants are located in Sharon, PA, Boardman, OH and Valley View, OH.

The Austintown Quaker Steak & Lube is a joint venture between Lube Holdings and Ray Travaglini, Quaker Steak & Lube Board Member and long-time friend. The restaurant will serve the same menu as other Lube’s and will host Tuesday All You Can Eat Wing Nights, Thursday summer Bike Nites as well as many other favorite Lube events.
