Quaker Steak & Lube Revs Engine in Mechanicsburg, PA

Quaker Steak & Lube, known for its chicken wings and more than 25 sauce varieties, will bring a new restaurant to Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.  The Lube will open to the public Wednesday, November 20, at 3 p.m. The restaurant created nearly 200 jobs for the area and will be the 15th Quaker Steak & Lube location in Pennsylvania.  The new Lube will be located at 165 Gateway Dr.

The new Lube will accommodate seating for over 300 guests, including 2 bars and an enclosed patio. HD flat-screen TVs will show sports events and games throughout the restaurant everyday.

"I am ecstatic to be part of bringing The Lube to Mechanicsburg. I know the residents of Mechanicsburg will be pleased with our award-winning food and the variety of events being held at The Lube, from Bike Nite to Kid's Night," says Tom Nowka of JDK Management.

Sports and automotive memorabilia of the Mechanicsburg Lube, hung from the ceilings and the walls of the restaurant, include Appalachian Harley Davidson Motorcycles mounted from the ceiling, historical artifacts from Williamsgrove Speedway, 91 Racing Corvette, the No. 28 Lawrence Chevrolet Busch Series Nascar, and the No. 2 Miller Lite Nascar.

The Mechanicsburg Lube will hold supercharged events all week including, Car Cruise-ins, All You Can Eat Wing Night, Service Industry Night, Bike Nite, Kid’s Night, Happy Hour, and more.

For convenient to-go food, the Mechanicsburg Lube will also include a drive-up pick-up area, and the restaurant will launch online ordering.
