The students at Kent State University can now enjoy the award-winning casual-dining concept Quaker Steak & Lube, known for its Best Wings USA and more than 20 sauce varieties in its new home in the Kent State University Student Center.

The Lube opened to the public Wednesday, October 17. This is the 16th Quaker Steak & Lube in Ohio.

The Lube will be located on the lower level of the KSU Student center and is open to all students and the community.

“We are thrilled to bring the Golden Flashes Best Wings USA and welcome them to Lube Nation,” says John Longstreet, CEO.

The new quick-service style Lube will feature walk up ordering for dine-in or take out.

At The Lube students can expect to enjoy all their Lube favorites, including Jumbo and Breaded Boneless Wings, Steakburgers, Magna Fries, and 16 signature Lube sauces.

“After looking at several options, Quaker Steak and Lube had the best overall appeal as far as menu and concept for our demographic,” says Richard Roldan, director for University Dining Services. “We conducted a variety of surveys and focus groups to research the pulse of the campus community before we made a decision. Quaker Steak and Lube was the clear favorite. The restaurant has a diverse menu that is ideal for the Student Center.”
