Quiznos Continues South American Expansion

QSR International, the master franchisee for Quiznos restaurants in Latin America and the Caribbean, is pleased to announce its continued expansion into the South American region. This past month, QSR signed a development agreement in Guyana with Camex Restaurants, Inc. The development agreement calls for five units to be opened within the next five years. Camex Restaurants, Inc., which is a franchisee of seven Church’s Chicken restaurants, three Dairy Queens, and one Marios Pizza, is based in Kingston Georgetown, Guyana.

“Quiznos is one of the strongest restaurant concepts in the Latin America and Caribbean region, and we are honored to be on the cutting edge of this exciting franchise,” says Camex CEO Terrance Campbell.

“All of us at QSR are extremely excited to have Camex as a partner in this expansion,” says Pablo Fernandez, QSR’s franchise expansion manager. “Camex is a well-known and well-managed company who we know will make Quiznos a huge success in Guyana.”

Today, QSR International is a 114-unit multi-brand franchisee and master franchise quick-serve restaurant developer that currently conducts business in 14 countries throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. QSR currently has 80 licensed Quiznos restaurants operating in these areas with 16 units under development and an additional 27 units committed through development agreements.
