Quiznos earned the No. 1 position in the quick-service restaurant industry for wait-time performance, according to the Mystery Shopping Providers Association’s (MSPA) 2007 Wait Time Study.

Quiznos leads the industry with an average wait time of 1 minute, 15 second and with a 100 percent return ratio. “The difference in wait-time rank and return ratio reveals the correlation between shopper expectations versus actual experience,” says MSPA Executive Director John Swinburn.

“To lead the industry is a great compliment to our entire system and is the result of the extraordinary focus our franchise owners have placed on delivering an outstanding Quiznos experience to our guests,” says Greg Brenneman, president and CEO of Quiznos. “Providing our guests with great-tasting, award-winning Quiznos sandwiches and salads in a fast and friendly manner is the hallmark of our brand.”

Starbucks placed second in the study with a wait time of 2 minutes, 8 seconds and a return ratio of 91.5 percent. The MSPA’s study was based on more than 10,000 responses from mystery shoppers in 25 cities over a three month period earlier this year.
