Quiznos’ Mobile Unit Rolls into Venezuela

Venezuela has officially welcomed Quiznos at the recent opening of Quiznos’ first-ever international mobile unit. The Oct. 15 opening of the mobile trailer coincided with the start of the Venezuelan winter league baseball season. Fans and visitors to the Jose Bernado Perez Stadium in Valencia can now enjoy the tasty, toasty goodness of Quiznos.

Quiznos’ Valencia-located mobile trailer is operated by Carlos Eduardo Lopez, managing director for Sub Q Corporation, headquartered in Valencia.

“Quiznos is one of the most exciting food concepts in the world, and we’re very proud to offer Quiznos to the residents and visitors to Valencia,” Lopez says.

Sub Q Corporation currently operates 13 Quiznos units with three additional units scheduled to open in 2011.

Today, QSR International is a 114-unit multi-brand franchisee and master franchise quick service restaurant developer that conducts business in 14 countries throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. QSR International owns and operates the master franchise for Quiznos restaurants in Latin America and the Caribbean, where it currently has 80 licensed Quiznos restaurants operating, with an additional 16 units under development.

QSR International has awarded and sold an additional 22 Quiznos franchises that will open in the next few years.
