Quiznos has chosen Balihoo to deliver a comprehensive Local Marketing Automation solution to its franchise owners nationwide. Balihoo’s solution combines up-to-date technology, local marketing strategy and media execution to bring effective and brand-compliant local marketing to Quiznos franchise owners.

“We’re excited to be working with Quiznos and congratulate them on taking this visionary step,” said Pete Gombert, Balihoo’s CEO. “Quiznos is leading the industry as the first quick service restaurant to invest in a Local Marketing Automation solution for its franchise owners that provides the tools and expertise to maximize return-on-investment of their local marketing efforts.”

Through the web-based Local Marketing Automation solution, franchise owners will be able to: customize and fulfill all Quiznos creative materials across 14 fully integrated media and marketing channels including in-store collateral, direct mail, email, television, radio, online, and coupons; access Balihoo’s strategic media planning, buying and fulfillment services to easily launch and manage integrated local marketing campaigns through the technology; and view a comprehensive local marketing calendar and reports including total spend, media selection, and results reporting.

“This announcement is another clear indication that Balihoo’s vision of bringing enterprise-class marketing to the local level is being rapidly adopted by the leading marketing organizations across industries,” continued Gombert. “The bottom-line is that Balihoo is the only platform that truly integrates services and technology to provide a turnkey solution to reduce costs and improve effectiveness for local marketers."

Balihoo will begin rolling out the Local Marketing Automation solution to a select group of Quiznos franchise owners in June 2009. System-wide implementation of the solution is scheduled for September 2009.
