Rita's Invites Guests to Cool Off This Summer

Rita’s Italian Ice, one of the nation’s largest Italian Ice concepts with over 625 outlets in 20 states, announced they will kick off summer for the second year in a row with cool prices on two of their most popular treats! On Friday, June 21, 2013, the First Day of Summer, Rita’s will be scooping regular sizes of their famous Italian Ice for only $2, or guests can enjoy a regular size signature Gelati, a layering of Italian Ice and Frozen Custard, for only $3. Guests are encouraged to capture their summer adventures at Rita’s and enter Rita’s Summer of Fun Photo Contest for cool prizes beginning Friday, June 21, and continuing until July 8, 2013. Photos can be submitted on Instagram using the hashtag #RitasSummerofFun, for a chance to win and be featured on Rita’s social media channels.

“Summer time is Rita’s time, and what better way to kick off the summer than with Rita’s,” says Laura Lazar, senior vice president of marketing, Rita’s. “Rita’s is perfect for hot summer days while people are on-the-go and need a delicious and thirst-quenching treat.”

Rita’s Summer of Fun Photo Contest is a great way for guests to share their summer adventures at Rita’s! Guests are encouraged to share photos of their Rita’s treats and fun, summer-time activities, and share them on Instagram using the contest hashtag: #RitasSummerofFun. Winners of the photo contest will be chosen on creativity and originality and will be notified following the contest. The grand prize winner will receive Free Rita’s Ice for a Year, with five runners up receiving a $25 voucher for Printstagram.
