Entrepreneurs Chris Kavalieros and Michael Czarnecki have signed a franchise deal with Sandella’s Flatbread Café to bring three new restaurants to Columbus, Ohio. The franchisees plan to open their first location by the end of 2009.

Kavalieros and Czarnecki are researching potential sites in northern Columbus for their first location. The franchisees are hoping to tap into the real estate market of popular areas throughout Columbus, such as Easton Shopping Center and Ohio State University.

“People today are more health conscious than ever before,” Kavaliero says. “Sandella’s is the perfect place for people who want a delicious and fast meal without sacrificing their health or their wallet in the process.”

Sandella’s Flatbread Café is the largest flatbread concept in the world, with more than 150 locations and 400 new restaurants in development across the U.S. and the Middle East.
