Smashburger announced expansion into the greater Kansas City area in 2010. The burger chain will offer diners special menu items that highlight Kansas City’s regional flavor.
Areios LLC will introduce Smashburger to the greater Kansas City metropolitan area and beyond as part of a 30-store franchise agreement signed in 2008. Other existing locations for the franchise owners include stores in Colorado and South Dakota. Areios LLC founders Ron Chaulk and Jim Cagle have more than 30 combined years of industry experience in franchised and new restaurant concepts.
“We are excited to bring Smashburger to the greater Kansas City area,” Chaulk says. “We believe in the concept and the quality of the product, and we know burger lovers on both sides of the state line will quickly grow to love our burger magic.”
