Smashburger announced the opening of Iowa’s first Smashburger location, which will open in West Des Moines on September 16.
“We know Smashburger will be the perfect complement to Iowa’s dining scene,” says Tom Ryan, founder of Smashburger. “We are thrilled to be part of the neighborhood and eager to become Greater Des Moines’ favorite burger place.”
The menu features Iowa-themed items like the Iowa Smashburger, which includes Iowa’s own Maytag blue cheese, applewood smoked bacon, haystack onions, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on an egg bun. Customers can also order the State Fair brat, served year-round at Smashburger.
