Sonic to Broadcast Conference Call

Sonic Corp. (Nasdaq/NM: SONC) will provide an
online Web simulcast of its third quarter 2001 earnings release conference call on Tuesday, June 26, 2001. During this call,
management will comment on Sonic’s financial and operational results for the quarter ended May 31, 2001, and review the company’s
earnings guidance for fiscal 2001.

The live broadcast of Sonic’s conference call will begin at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time on June 26, 2001. An online replay will be available
approximately two hours following the conclusion of the live broadcast and will continue through July 27, 2001. Links to these events
can be found at the investor section of the company’s website, www.sonicdrivein.com.
