South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa in Las Vegas will open the first Steak ‘n Shake restaurant west of Texas on December 16 at 11 a.m. The opening of this new Las Vegas dining establishment will feature a celebratory ribbon cutting by Sardar Biglari, chairman and CEO of Biglari Holdings, owner of Steak ‘n Shake; Las Vegas iconic mayor Oscar Goodman; and South Point owner Michael Gaughan.

“The opening of Steak ‘n Shake in Las Vegas is a historic milestone because, after 76 years, we are expanding into a Western state and an urban area, which epitomizes action and excitement,” Biglari says. “We are delighted to showcase the new, updated Steak ‘n Shake inside the bustling South Point Casino. Patrons will welcome this location as the restaurant exhibits an unusually alive, brighter, and highly visible open grill and milkshake fountain, features which date back to the nostalgia-generating and enlightening Steak ‘n Shake tagline, ‘In Sight It Must be Right.’

“All upgrades were installed with the intention of enhancing the guests’ experience and are consistent with the high repute of the time-honored brand,” he says. “Guests will love the aesthetics, burgers, and shakes.”

Steak ‘n Shake guests can also enjoy a number of daily deals beginning with the Half Price Happy Hour for all milkshakes and drinks served weekdays from 2–4 p.m. and 2–4 a.m., plus the four meals under $4 menu.
