Steak ‘n Shake, famous for the Original Steakburger and hand-dipped milkshakes, celebrates the grand opening of its first restaurant in the city of Webster, Texas.

The official ribbon-cutting ceremony takes place Thursday, January 31, at 9 a.m., to be hosted by principal partners Aslam Mohammed, Mehdi Mohammed, Anil Mohammed, Moez Dhukka, and district manager Ayaz Merchant.

Also slated to attend are the city manager, chief of police, fire chief, assistant police chief, and assistant fire chief.

“We are extremely excited to bring another Steak ‘n Shake restaurant to Texas,” says Sardar Biglari, CEO of Steak ‘n Shake. “Each time we have opened a new Steak ‘n Shake, we have received a tremendous turnout, which is building to an ardent following.

“The Webster Steak ‘n Shake is a topically designed, freestanding unit,” he adds. “The restaurant has been patterned after refreshing notions of classic, timeless, and transcendent quality. At Steak ‘n Shake, we are dedicated to a food culture that enlivens one’s palate.”

Steak ‘n Shake, founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois, by restaurateur Gus Belt, is the pioneer in the “better burger” segment of the restaurant industry.

In addition to showcasing the new design, Steak ‘n Shake continues its 78-year-old tradition of serving a variety of steakburgers and milkshakes, including the newest offerings, the Jalapeno Crunch Steakburger andthe limited-time-only Red Velvet Milkshake.

Steak ‘n Shake guests can also enjoy a number of daily deals beginning with the Half Price Happy Hour on all milkshakes and drinks served weekdays from 2–4 p.m., Kids Eat Free on Weekends, and the “4 meals under $4 menu.”
