From the Steakhouse to the Drive-Thru
Offered as a limited time promotion, Checkers/Rally’s Steakhouse Burger is a double cheddarburger complemented with A.1. Steak Sauce, bacon, lettuce, pickles, and onions on a toasted sesame bun.
“Our Steakhouse Burger has been one of our most successful products in testing in several years,” says Richard S. Turer, vice president of marketing at Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc. “This menu line extension follows the successful launch of our premium Homestyle Chicken Strip Sandwich and is part of our quality initiative focus to offer guests the option to choose from a variety of premium menu offerings. Our new Steakhouse Burger topped with A.1. Steak Sauce is made with high-quality, flavorful products, providing an upscale menu offering that is fast, portable and affordable.”
Checkers/Rally’s Steakhouse Burger is available as a limited time offer and sells at the price of two for $4.00, at participating locations.
To promote the product launch, the Company sponsored NASCAR® driver Bill Lester’s No. 22 Toyota® Tundra at the October 28th Atlanta Craftsman® Truck Series race. The paint scheme for Lester’s truck showcased the Checkers/Rally’s brand with its new Steakhouse Burger.
