Subway restaurants teams up with Nickelodeon and Paramount Home Entertainment for a Kids’ Pak promotion tied to “Blue’s Big Musical Movie,” available only on videocassette and DVD October 3rd. The video stars the gang from the popular Nickelodeon pre-school program, Blue’s Clues, in their first full-length movie, and introduces children to a new character, Periwinkle, who’s a mischievious talking cat from the city.
When customers order a Subway Kids’ Pak October 2 through November 19, they will receive one of four toys tied to the video. Subway will support the promotion with a national US and Candadian television campaign for its first three weeks.
All of the toys in the promotion are based on the video’s musical theme and include:
Dancing Blue—A wind-up toy.
G-Clef’s Harmonica—A working harmonica that lets kids sing along with the songs in the movie.
