Subway Awards Contract to Register 5

Register 5, an online retailer of point-of-sale and data collection equipment, solutions and services, has entered an agreement with Doctor's Associates Inc., owner of the Subway® Restaurant Franchise, in which Register 5 will produce and market the new PC-on-a-Drawer(tm) Point-of-Sale System to the entire Subway® Franchisee base, providing a total point-of-sale (POS) solution for Subway® Franchisees.

As this system is rolled out to Subway® locations over the next year, the total value of this relationship may exceed 30 million dollars.

Register 5's PC-on-a-Drawer POS System is a PC-based POS System designed specifically for franchised food chains. According to the agreement, the PC-on-a-Drawer systems will be shipped directly to Subway® Franchisees preinstalled with Subway's® SubShop/2000 software and each store's menu items, pricing, employee and tax data. Franchisees can setup and begin using the system with professional guidance provided by Register 5's SUBWAY® Support Center(tm).
