The owners and operators of Subway's locations on the Pacific Island of Guam were the honored recipients of Legislative Resolution No. 133 presented on behalf of the people of Guam by Senator Ray Tenorio.
The document congratulates Subway on celebrating its 15th anniversary on the island and for its years of successful operation. The Resolution also recognizes the local branches of Subway for their efforts in informing the public about the benefits of eating healthy, educating the island residents about healthy products and supporting numerous health related events, stating that the Subway brand's achievements have "added immeasurably to the quality of life of the residents of Guam."
"Much of our success is due to the conscientious efforts made by our hardworking franchisees, such as the ones in Guam, who have embraced the entrepreneurial spirit and have helped spread the Subway concept around the world," said Don Fertman, Subway's director of development, in a statement.
