Subway's Valentine's Gift to You: Free Cookies

Subway, the world's largest sub sandwich franchise, will host a national Free Cookie Day at all U.S. locations on Monday, February 14. With this promotion, a complimentary cookie will be included with any purchase.

The event is taking place during FebruANY, the month-long Subway restaurant promotion in which any regular footlong sandwich on the menu is available for only $5 during the month of February.

"We're showing everyone a little cookie love on Valentine's Day," says Tony Pace, chief marketing officer of the Subway Franchisee Advertising Fund Trust. "Whether it is as a treat for yourself or something extra for the special someone, everyone loves a cookie -- especially when it is free and freshly-baked. It is also a great way to try our newest cookie, Raspberry Cheesecake."

"This is all part of our FebruANY $5 Footlong event and our Footlong Nation Appreciation promotion, both of which celebrate our famous footlongs and thank our customers for making them so popular," Pace says.

FebruANY at Subway restaurants also includes a special sweepstakes for electronic and entertainment prizes, and the chance to instantly win free footlongs for life. For more details, visit www.SUBWAYFreshBuzz.com.
