The Dairy Queen system is serving up the new Tripleberry Brownie as the featured Blizzard of the Month for August.

The Tripleberry Brownie Blizzard Treat is blended with creamy DQ vanilla soft serve mixed with choco chunks, Tripleberry fruit mix, which includes strawberry, raspberry, and blackberry purée, and chewy brownie pieces.

The flavor profile and texture of our new Tripleberry Brownie Blizzard Treat is what makes it special,” says Barry Westrum, executive vice president of marketing for American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ). “It’s an unusual, unique blend of textures and an explosion of flavors that our fans crave, as well as the perfect answer to the dog days of summer.”

Summer is also the hot season for DQ Cakes. Many Blizzard Treat flavors, including Tripleberry Brownie, also can also be made into DQ Cakes, perfect for holidays, summer picnics, and other special events, such as birthdays and anniversaries.

The Dairy Queen system began blending simple combinations of chocolates, fruits, cookies, nuts, and candies with DQ soft serve in 1985 to create the signature Blizzard Treat. The treat has created the served upside-down Blizzard culture and since then, flavors such as S’mores, Chocolate Candy Shop, and Confetti Cake have delighted Dairy Queen fans as part of the featured Blizzard of the Month program, which began in 2003.
