Taco Cabana, the fast-casual chain with its Mexican patio cafe environment and true flavors of Mexico-inspired menu, opened its newest Dallas restaurant.

This is the first time Taco Cabana has opened one of its newly redesigned concepts in Dallas.

"We're excited to bring another Taco Cabana location to our fans in Dallas," says Todd Coerver, interim chief operating officer at Taco Cabana. "And the fact that this location will be the first time we're bringing our new redesign to Dallas makes this occasion even more special."

The fast-casual restaurant's new redesign echoes Taco Cabana's focus on bringing authentic, contemporary Mexican cuisine to its guests.

The new design features decorative metal "estrella" lights hanging from the ceiling, papel picado (iconic Mexican paper flag cutouts) accents throughout, and large street-life photos from the heart of Mexico decorating the colorful walls.

"Our inspiration comes from accurately reflecting the flavors of Mexico—from our restaurant design, to the decor, to the music we play, to the fresh ingredients blended into our made-from-scratch recipes," Coerver says. "We want our guests to be able to enjoy our authentic and affordable food in a fresh new environment that blends together both traditional and contemporary Mexican cues for a unique dining experience."

The new restaurant, which is open 24 hours, will celebrate its opening with a customer appreciation event in November.

In July, Taco Cabana debuted its newly designed restaurant in Allen, Texas. The company is currently updating all 160 of its existing locations, which is scheduled to be complete in early 2014.
