Taco John’s Needs Your Help in Supporting Injured Troops

This holiday season, Taco John’s is donating a portion of each Nachos Navidad purchase to the Yellow Ribbon Fund. The Yellow Ribbon Fund cares for injured soldiers who are recovering from traumatic injuries at Walter Reed Medical Center.

“This is a great opportunity to support our heroes and their families,” says Renée Middleton, vice president of marketing at Taco John’s. “Our service men and women have given so much to protect our country, and this is a chance for Taco John’s communities across the country to give back.”

The Yellow Ribbon Fund’s goal is to bridge the gap between what the military is able to provide and what injured service members and their families need. The organization provides help in three main areas: housing and transportation, support programs, and breaks from hospital life. For example, it provides free hotel rooms, apartments, rental cars, and date nights for injured service members and their family members.

After injured soldiers return home, the Yellow Ribbon Fund’s mentorship program stands by them to ensure they have a quality support network. Assisting this organization helps service members and their families from across the country.

You can submit a thank you message online. These digital messages will be printed on a banner and delivered to injured soldiers and their families at Walter Reed Medical Center. Taco John’s has been giving back with Nachos Navidad for over a decade, donating to local charities as well as global organizations to help those in need during the holiday season.
