Taco John’s Rolls Out Mexican-Inspired Salads

The fresh taste of West-Mex has never been fresher. Taco John’s is rolling out two new, Mexican inspired salads: the Chipotle BBQ Chicken and Cran-Apple Almond Chicken Salads.

The limited time offer hit stores April 9 and will be available through September 2.

“Our team has created salads with bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and zesty dressings,” says Bob Karisny, vice president for menu strategy and innovation at Taco John's International.

The Chipotle BBQ Chicken Salad is garnished with a corn and black bean salsa, crunchy chipotle barbecue chicken, and jalapeño ranch. Taco John’s will also offer a Cran-Apple Almond Chicken Salad, which boasts a flavorful raspberry chipotle vinaigrette, Pico de Gallo, apples, cranberries, almonds, and grilled chicken.

Taco John’s usually offers a taco salad as a menu item, but the new salad offerings will give more options for customers looking to add variety to their regular order.

“We are looking to attract new and lapsed guests with our bold salads,” says Renée Middleton, vice president of marketing at Taco John’s International. “Today’s customers appreciate a variety of choices and are tired of the same-old, same-old salads.”
