Taylor Gourmet is set to open at 1908 14th St. NW D.C. on Jan. 3, 2012. This will mark the fourth location from Philadelphia natives and longtime friends Casey Patten and David Mazza.

The duo is excited to bring Philadelphia-style hoagies to the vibrant 14th St. Corridor, where hoagie lovers who live in the area have been longing to have Taylor Gourmet come to the neighborhood. This location will also provide delivery service to Columbia Heights and Dupont Circle.

“We’ve wanted to open a shop on 14th St. for years because the neighborhood is a great reflection of D.C.,” Pattern says. “We have customers who live and work there that frequent Taylor Gourmet and wish they didn’t have to come across town.”

Taylor Gourmet will stay open until 2:30 a.m. on Thursdays and 3:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

“Late night is going to be insane… in a good way!” Pattern says.

Patten and Mazza have transformed the space for the first time since the 1900s to mirror Taylor Gourmet’s signature industrial, contemporary, rustic look and feel.
