Taziki's Mediterranean Café, a fast-casual Greek food-inspired chain headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama announced at its annual Franchisee Conference that it has plans to have 50 locations open or under development by the end of 2014.

“Taziki’s has had 17 years of solid growth; in that time we have learned what works for our locations,” says Keith Richards, founder and CDO of Taziki’s. “We have the tools and team in place to offer our franchisors support as they begin their journey to bring Mediterranean flavor to new communities.”

Average net sales per location are $1.45 million and average gross profit is $502,000. The company’s franchise fee is $25,000 and their royalty fees are 4 percent.

New franchisees from Texas, Louisiana, Georgia and Oklahoma joined the leadership team to learn more about the company’s efforts to assist franchisees in restaurant location selection.

The Franchisee Conference also announced growth opportunities, and awards were distributed to owners.
