Third Times the Charm: MOD Adds Portland Location

MOD Pizza announced that it will open its 15th store at the Tanasbourne Shoppes just outside of Portland. The Grand Opening event is Thursday, March 6 at 5:00 p.m.

The first 52 customers in line at the Grand Opening will receive a free MOD pizza or salad. Additionally, there will be tastings and giveaways throughout the evening, culminating with a drawing for “Free Pizza for a Year”. In an effort to continue “Spreading MODness”, MOD is partnering with the Hillsboro Schools Foundation who will receive 100 percent of all sales from the Grand Opening.

As a Northwest company, we have always known that the Portland area would be a priority for us, so we are thrilled to continue to build our presence in the community,” explains Scott Svenson, co-founder and CEO. “MOD is not just about great pizza. It is about our desire to redefine and elevate the ‘fast food’ experience and to create a culture of putting people first – both the customer and our employees. This mission motivates our teams every day, and we look forward to sharing this magic with Hillsboro.”

MOD’s artisan-style pizzas are Made-On-Demand (MOD), using organic fresh-pressed dough and signature sauces. Customers can create their own pizzas and salads, using any combination of 30 featured toppings, or they can choose from a menu of MOD classics. Pizzas are the same price regardless of the number of toppings and are hand-cooked in an 800 degree oven in less than three minutes. MOD also offers local draft beers, wine, sweet and savory knots, milkshakes, and house-made lemonades and iced teas.
