Tijuana Flats, known for its fresh Tex-Mex food and hot sauce, has named Monique Yeager as vice president of marketing for the fast-growing 98-unit Tex-Mex restaurant chain. Yeager officially begins her role on February 10.

 

Yeager brings to Tijuana Flats more than 20 years of experience in marketing and public relations and will oversee all marketing strategies and tactics including promotional campaigns, traditional and non-traditional advertising, local store marketing, social media, and public relations. “I’m excited to join an innovative and cutting edge brand such as Tijuana Flats, and I look forward to working with an amazing team to help the brand continue to expand and evolve,” Yeager says.

 

Yeager most recently served as director of marketing for Tony Roma’s, a full-service casual dining restaurant with 160+ national and international locations. Prior to that, she held a leadership position with Sonny’s Franchise Company as director of public relations.

 

Along with her new role at Tijuana Flats, Yeager continues to serve as chair of the marketing council and member of the state board of directors of the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association; member of the Central Florida Council Boy Scouts of America board of directors; member of the MicheLee Puppets board of directors. Yeager obtained her Bachelor of Communication from Auburn University.
