Togo’s Eateries, Inc., the California sandwich chain with 240+ franchised units, announced today it has hired Todd Peterson as vice president of franchise sales. A seventeen year restaurant industry veteran, Peterson joins Togo’s to expand the franchise sales base and oversee growth.

“We are pleased to have Todd join our executive leadership team and focus on growing our very popular franchise concept,” says Tony Gioia, Togo’s chief executive officer. “Todd has a tremendous track record and we look forward to taking Togo’s to new locations on the West coast.”

Peterson most recently managed franchise sales for Texas based CiCi’s Pizza, and more than four years as vice president of franchise development for California based Sizzler Restaurants. As a leader in franchise sales and development, Peterson has expanded brands throughout the United States and into international locations. Prior to Sizzler, he served as director of franchise sales to grow the Damon’s Grill brand in the U.S. and abroad.
